Sleepovers

This book is brilliant. It is about a girl called Daisy and she has moved house and school all because of her older sister who has special needs. At school Daisy makes friends with some girls called Emily, Amy and Bella. Emily's best friend is Chloe but Chloe is not a nice sweet girl, Chloe is a mean and rude girl who is mean to Daisy and the others. For their birthdays, each girl has a sleepover party. I won't say much more but I will say that at the end Daisy and Emily become best friends.
I have read this book 7 times. It is quite small with 111 pages. I think that people that are aged 6-9 will like this book best.

My mum's going to explode!

Like most of Jeremy Strong's books, this book is incredibly funny.
My favourite bit was when the pregnant mum of a boy called Nicholas goes on a diet of sausages. It's all she wants to eat.

In this story Nicholas gets a bit fed up and bored. His Grandma and her husband need to find a new house, all Nicholas's mum will cook is sausages and his grandma is a bit deaf.

The spookoscope

Hello, I am very sorry that I haven't posted for a while. This is my review of the spookoscope, a book that I don't like very much.

I’m sorry to say that I didn’t like this book very much because of two characters, Violet Moonbeam, and a very smelly ghost called Norman. I particularly didn’t really like it when Norman tried to haunt two boys called Oli and Skipjack. They were really scared.
